I haven't been able to test this yet because I'm running Yosemite beta on my Mac and if I upgrade to iCloud Drive, the current iCloud installation and data on my iOS devices will be useless. Dropbox for articles and iCloud for notes. One way to differentiate between "actual writing" and notes is by separating where they reside. But I'm not giving up on note taking just yet. I was already using Akni to make cards and this seemed like a double job. Tried taking notes in Write while watching online tutorials, but quickly gave up. I don't know if it's because I already have a pretty nice setup with Simplenote and Evernote or I just can't associate a professional writing app with note-taking. But that is not what I have been able to achieve. Write is also marketed as a note-taking application. Then you can start writing to Write and then send it as a note to Evernote or as a list to Clear, among other things. The application will also allow you to export your notes to different applications.

If you don't use an app like Command-C, this can be a great way to transfer addresses or links between Mac and iPhone. When you go to the iPhone app and open Notepad from the sidebar, the text will be there. Just click the icon on the menu bar and type anything in the window that appears. Scratch Pad on Mac is a menu bar utility. If you are signed in to iCloud in both applications, you can use Scratch Pad. Write app for iPhone costs $ 1.99 and it works in conjunction with the Mac application. In a new environment, your brain is less likely to skip over small details because it assumes you already know what you want to say, so your article will come out cleaner and your editor will be happier too. It is scientifically proven that the best way to detect typos is to correct in an environment that is completely different from the one you write. Make sure the preview mode looks nothing like your typing view, to help you easily spot errors. The preview mode is really useful when it comes to correcting.
